Was wondering if this is a good idea for a future update:
Adding to clans the ability to specify rules such as a number people it takes to ban, mute, promote a player. This can be done when setting up your clan, so say you set that an admin can promote a player but it takes two organizers to agree a promotion. This would mean that one person could not promote someone they would need a seconded vote, same with demotions or banning people. I know it's another layer of admin but would add stability and push higher ranking clan members to talk.
You wouldn't need to change the ranks just add a layer to ranks for co-operating decisions where you would specify a number between 1-3 say.
Owner would have all 1's then all ranks below could be a option defaulting to 1 but changeable. so if you set administrator to have a 1 for prompting but a 2 for kicking he would require another administrator or higher to kick a member out of the clan but could promote clan members on his own. If he tried to kick a member it would automatically set the offending member to have 1 vote and when another administrator voted he would be kicked, but if no other administrator kicked within say a week he would return back to having no votes against him. You would be able to see any votes against you in your profile page, but maybe not who cast them and also receive a clan message that you received a vote.
What do you think?
