There's a variety of different ways that you can go about recruiting new members to a clan.
You can create a simple or elaborate recruitment thread in whichever one of the recruitment sections best suits your clan. Just remember to bump it every now and then to keep it on Page 1 for the best visibility.
There's also a Looking for a Clan forum section where players seeking clans can post what they're looking for in a clan to get responses from clans who think they fit their interests.
If you're looking in game, you can try an indirect approach by placing a Clan Vexillum in a populated area for others to check out. Or, you can directly ask players if they're interested in joining your clan.
Just keep in mind that it will be difficult at first, but you'll have better successes if you have others to help you. There are a lot of clans on this game so you just need to make yours stand out, in a good way.
Vex, posting, all sorts - sometimes just chatting in game and getting to know someone will get them to join
I have noticed that when I started my new clan we brought in a 3 day guesting policy and made it so that we recruited a max of about 3 people a week. it kept it as a really nice friendly atmosphere rather than inviting everyone on world 2
So it might be worth keeping that in mind
It is always worth considering things like a website, or a clan twitter, or reddit posts etc. A lot of people look on the social media platforms these days and it is always best to cover all areas!
