Hello, I recently (1 week ago) started a clan. I currently have 17 members which I think is a decent number for just starting. I am seeking help, I need to know how to get more active members and make the clan more friendly. Help would be appreciated, thank you for your time and response.
As a new clan, I'd say you're doing fairly well for being so new. Judging by what I can see, you're probably new to clans in general, so I'll try to give a general overview of what you should look into as the leader of a clan.
First off, you want to have trusted, loyal members ranked Admin and above. They should take on responsibilities of running the clan as much as you do. Ideally, this will help progress you further because it builds friendships and teamwork to get your clan going, along with everyone sharing the workload rather than one person doing it all.
Deciding what your clan's focus is will help with recruitment. For example, my clan is a Social/PvM clan, meaning we have an active Clan Chat for chatting as well as a sizeable group of PvMers. Your clan type can focus on anything from Community Clan to a PKing Clan, or any combination of whatever you want.
One option you can use for recruitment is to create a recruitment thread on the forums. You can browse around the different sections to see which one would be the best fit for your clan after you have your clan a bit more established. This way, you can advertise your clan for players who are seeking a clan.
If your clan has P2P members, then it's worth considering to create a Citadel, if you haven't done so already. Citadels can require a lot of maintenance to make sure progress is kept at higher tiers, but even having a Tier 1 Citadel is good for skilling (the xp gets better as Citadel tiers increase) and the use of a Clan Avatar for bonus XP.
