hi there i am trying to find out something, i currently have tier 4 sceduled for build, tick is in 14hours, and we are short of reasources, if tick happens, are those reasources added to the build, and we can keep going after tick and get the last bit, or nope, do we have to start again?
oh and i have shifted tick already
any help is much appreciated Recruiting for my clan

If you haven't met the resources for the upgrade at the tick, and you also havent met the visitor count, you will lose those resources which were allocated to the upgrade that week. Anything you successfully gathered in previous weeks will be safe.

However if you have gotten the visitor count required, you just didn't get enough resources, then those resources gathered will be safe. At higher levels, the collection of resources towards an upgrade could take you several weeks to complete. So always make sure you have the visitor count - 5 for upkeep, but much higher if you are upgrading the citadel itself ( 20 if you are upgrading to tier 4).

It is helpful to also have a cosmetic upgrade ordered too, since these do not require a specific visitor count; then if you don't have the required visitors, you can move the cosmetic to highest priority in your build list, and therefore use any resources that might otherwise be lost.
