Citadel Resources Missing?

Hi,

Bit of an odd problem. All of our members that were able capped for our citadels first week, which worked out to around 6000 wood. We didn't upgrade or change anything, yet we still seem to have used all of our resources on the first weeks build tick and are now back to square one (have all capped back up to 6k after the reset).

My questions are:
- Is this normal? Do you lose the resources you gain on your very first build tick for some reason so we won't be subject to the same issue next week?
- Is this due to something I've done wrong? - should I have upgraded anything to accommodate the storage of our wood over the build tick?
- Is there any log/way to trace how our Citadel resources have been spent?

When I checked, I believe our maintenance costs should have been under 500, so I'm really interested to find out where these missing resources went! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Hi Satisdiction,

From what you've said, it sounds like you've just started a clan and began working on your Citadel.

Each week, a Citadel will execute Build Orders during its Build Tick. This is commonly referred to as a Citadel's weekly reset. When the Build Orders execute, the resources your clan has gathered for the week will either be used to pay upkeep costs, pay upgrade costs, or get stored in the Storehouse. However, the Storehouse has a limit on how much it can store, which varies by Tier.

In your clan's situation, once the necessary amount of timber was used to pay upkeep costs, the excess has disappeared because no upgrades were set, and your Storehouse is not a high enough Tier to hold more resources.

I would recommend prioritizing Storehouse upgrades as your clan builds up its Citadel before building new skill plots. This will also increase the weekly resource cap that your members have and allow you to upgrade a little faster.

To add to what Sicariu has said, make sure that you do have upgrades added each week.

Any resources allocated to your upgrade wont be lost ( unless its the citadel itself and you fail to meet the visitor count). You don't have to collect the full amount of resources to cover the upgrade each week ( at higher tiers its impossible to) - they will carry over and continue your progress until the full amount of required resources are gathered.
