Starting a new clan/founders?

Hi,
The requirement of 5 founders is only needed to create the clan, and it doesn't matter if any players who sign the charter leave the clan once it has been founded. Once the clan exists, the charter disappears, and the clan only needs to contain one member to stay open.
However, clans with less than 5 members lose some functionality. For example, clans with less than 5 members cannot have a Citadel, and they are not eligible to be listed on the Clan HiScores. In order to regain these, you just need to increase your clan's size back up to 5 members.
