id like to know when this would be released as it was posted 2-3yrs ago, ive been working to revitilize my clan. our leader has for the most part abandoned us and im doing pretty much 90% of the work last 2 weeks orso. our leader has been inactive on and off for long periods the last 2yrs orso. it would be nice for this update to be released so i can take over ownership of the clan iinstead of haveing to move everyone to a new cc.

im requesting a response from a jagex mod as they would know best about this.

Hi,

There is already a system in place for Jagex to replace inactive Clan Owners. Unfortunately for your clan though, your leader does not meet the criteria needed to be replaced.

From his RuneMetrics profile, I can see that he's gained 6,262,849 XP within the last year, the last of it being in December 2016. For Jagex to replace an inactive leader, their account needs to meet the following criteria: Mod Matthe said :
Criteria:

1) Your Clan Leader must have been inactive (ie not logged in) for over 12 months.
2) One of the existing Clan deputies must have been active in the last 7 days.
3) The request for change of ownership must be made by an existing clan deputy.
Your clan's Deputy Owner would also need to be the one to request the transfer because they are active (slightly below 12m XP gained in the last 2 months).

Sorry that this isn't exactly the information you were looking for, but that's just the way it works.
