Is there a way to check availability for clans names, besides searching for the clan, that's similar to when you change your name? We have some name ideas but it seems fishy that none of the names are taken according to the clan lists. Before setting anything in 28 day stone we wanted to know our options so we can ask member opinions.

Sadly not. its a case of try it and see, and hope its still available by you actually want to change it.

A lot of clan names don't show on the clan search - those with under 5 members. So even if the search doesn't come up with a clan, it doesn't mean the name isnt taken.
